History

Bulsar District Cricket Association was formed in the year 1968 under the leadership of former Ranji trophy player and reputed businessman Shri Kanti R. Desai. The association has been affiliated with Gujarat Cricket Association since the year 1968 and by virtue of this affiliation secretary of the Association Shri K.R. Desai is also the office bearer of the Gujarat cricket association since 1968.

The Bulsar District Association has already hosted thirty “Ranji Trophy” matches, one “Wills Trophy” semifinal, four Prof. “Deodhar Trophy” matches two “Duleep Trophy “semifinal and one final match, 10 Cooch Behar trophy, 6 “Con C.K. Naidu Trophy”, and one “Vijay Merchant Trophy match”. BDCA Cricket Stadium is equipped with a full-size lush green playground with turf wickets, Shri Bhurabhai Desai swimming pool, RTN Dr. Moghabhai Desai multipurpose Memorial Hall, Ramna Bhura Sports Complex, Sardar Patel Stadium, Mamta Health Center, and is equipped with all the latest amenities. The Bulsar District Association is proud of its affiliations with 101 clubs.
